The 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor is a highly-anticipated addition to the Ford lineup, designed to take the already popular Bronco 4X4 to the next level of off-road performance. With its upgraded mechanics and powerful 418-hp engine, this “monster” of a vehicle is built to tackle even the toughest terrain.
Recently, our team at Hennessey had the opportunity to take delivery of a Code Orange Metallic Bronco Raptor and we wasted no time in putting it to the test. We headed to the Pennzoil Proving Ground, a premier testing facility for off-road vehicles, to push the limits of the Bronco Raptor and see just what it was capable of.
As we hit the dirt and small hills, we put every aspect of the Bronco Raptor’s mechanics to the test. From the suspension and tires to the advanced 4-wheel drive system, we wanted to see how the vehicle handled in a variety of off-road conditions. But, one question was on everyone’s mind: can the Bronco Raptor do a burnout?
We were excited to find out and put the powerful engine to the test. And the answer is yes, the Bronco Raptor can definitely do a burnout. The engine’s raw power and advanced traction control system allowed us to perform a spectacular burnout, leaving a cloud of dust in its wake.
Overall, the 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor exceeded our expectations in terms of off-road performance and capability. It’s truly a force to be reckoned with on the trails, and we can’t wait to see what adventures this “monster” will take us on next.
